The personal site of Tristan Eason

I write about whatever I find worth noticing.

Food, places, ideas, opinions, and the other things that make life interesting. Not here to track you. No lists. No AI-slop. It's just me, thinking out loud, about whatever, whenever.

Me in a Nutshell

I'm a simple island boy at heart who's tasted the forbidden fruit of world travel and the finer things in life. A computer habit, applied to real world problem-solving, facilitates that so I can travel when I can, cook most days, eat and drink well, enjoy life, and carve out enough time to spend it here... my little home on the internet.

A man is allowed to contain more than one atmosphere.

Lately

Cooking
a ragù that wants the whole afternoon
Reading
back through the Tao Te Ching, slowly
Drinking
Aperol at four, Scotch at midnight
Elsewhere
Torino, in my head if not in person

The day job

I own and operate Vida Tigris, where I build websites, systems, and other useful things. It is one room here, not the whole house.
